Hi Bear,

A TV has 4 wheels on the ground, and 6 wheels for a dually. Then if you want to monitor the spare it's 5 or seven sensors. All Montys have 4 wheels, and then there is a spare. Some heavy duty trailers have three axles which adds two more sensors. Some folks only monitor the trailer and spare with will be 4 or 5.

As you can see, one can have up to FOURTEEN sensors on their rig combination with just what I mentioned to cover all wheels and spares.

And if you think about other towed vehicles for RVs, double tows and the numbers of wheels in those combinations, I always thought a system with 16 or even 22 positions was strange until I realized all these possibilities. And now, I hadn't even thought about considering monitoring spare tires for anything. It's an owner's choice how much they want to monitor and that's a lot of possibilities.
