We also have the vented unit. The ventless model takes twice the time to dry. our dealer sent our new Montana over to CW next door and they installed our old Splendid (from a 2003 Montana). They also cut a hole in the wall and installed a nice chrome vent. Works like a champ. Above the washer/dryer, I installed a coat rack so during the winter months we hang our coats there in the closet. It also works great on the rainy days to hang our wet coats in there to dry.
