We live here full time and the sun is brutal but the moisture is worst. My suggestion is don't leave it here. but if you are, you need to keep the air on at 85° with a dehumidifier in the shower or kitchen sink. Use 303 protectant, wax and service the roof before you leave use silver bubble wrap in the windows and blow out the lines that helps with mildew in the plumbing. Fill the black tank half full and use deodorizer unless the dehumidifier is on that tank. Remove the sewer flex pipe and put a short garden hose on the drain for the dehumidifier leave that to drain on the ground as sewer back up is not unheard of and you don't want to be hooked up. A cover helps but it MUST be a white tyvek type as the others do not hold up and you have to cut a hole for the air conditioner. really there is only so much you can do and hope you have trees or you can store it indoors and find a good property watch service. Oh forgot you need to tie the unit down so the storms do not roll it over remember. You are responsible for damage your unit causes to others, believe me we were here for Erma and let your insurance know you left it here.
