Just got a new 2011 Chevy 3500HD SRW 4X4 to replace my 04 2500HD 2X4 and it is good to have a 4X4 again. I park the rig on grass in my yard and the area is on a slight incline and the ability to pull out of that area after /during a rain is made easier by the 4X4 capability. As others have said, it is each individual's choice.
