I had this happen to a TT we owned. We were in Arizona and the unit would ice up and the air flow would be greatly diminished. Before we could get to the dealer, we just turned the unit off when the air flow stopped and let the unit thaw and turned it back on again.
I don't remember exactly what failed, but it was a simple fix that the dealer took care of. After the repair, the unit cycled off properly to prevent freezing and worked fine after that.
