Since I came up with zip, and apparently all of you came up with zip, I bit the bullet and bought a 32" Sharp Aquos LCD.
It's going to be a tight fit in a 2955. It's 30 1/2" wide and the space I can wedge it into is 31". Looks like it will clear the slide by about 2".
I feel a fabrication frenzy coming on......
