Two possibilities usually answer your question ... a cylinder seal or the check valve in your pump assy. If you have a leaky piston seal on one of your cylinders, the pressure built up resulting from drawing in the slides slips past the faulty seal and pushes out the slide with the least resistance till the pressure falls off. Sometimes if you just "bump" the slide switch to extend after you retract the slides, it equalizes the pressure enough that the slide creep is minimal. The other possibility is the check valve in the pump assy itself. Unless you are familiar with hyd pumps and inner components, this is a replace situation and it is pricey.
