We got our OEM sleeper sofa out through the door when we replaced it with our reclining loveseat. It takes some clever moving and squeezing and twisting and turning but it does go through the door. So I suppose it will also go in the door. Just be sure you have plenty of help. Our loveseat was much easier to get through the door because the back will come off.
