We started our way to the NE rally Saturday morning. Despite the heavy rain in the morning the first day on the road went well. Last minute changes to our route plan included the following.
15N to 83. (construction on 83 with minor delays)
83 to 81N
81N to 78E
78E to 287 N to 87N New York State Thruway (toll road)
87N to exit 17, 84E. (5.25 toll)
84E was a bit rough east of the Hudson but nothing I'm not use to living in Pa.
Since we have a couple of days before the rally we plan to wander thru Vermont and New Hampshire. When we reached Hartford we turned North on 91 and ended the day in Brattleboro Vt. We plan to spend a day or two in the area then take Rt 9 East towards Maine. Hopefully the weather will improve in the next couple of days.
