One thing and only one thing I miss from our previous Jayco Premier 5th wheel was the awnings. The underside was black not white or cream like most and my new Montana. After 4-5 years it still looked fantastic, granted the underside could have very well been dirty or streaked but it never appeared so and always looked good. Possibly it could have been due to a different material, but I wouldn’t have anyway of knowing that. I just hosed the dust off occasionally and washed the topside with Dawn Blue when camping under trees and such when obvious debris was on it. In the past 10 months of using my Montana maybe 5 months of that I washed my awning 6-7 times and it’s not as good looking as my past 4-5 year old previous awning. I say this just as a suggestion for awning replacement time as I know what a pain it is to wash an awning especially so as we get older and are shoulders and arms aren’t what they used to be.
