If you come on I80 You might consider stopping overnight at Mahoney State Park between Omaha and Lincoln. it is a beutiful park along the Platte River. Also the Strategic Air Meuseum (all the planes the air Force has had) is right next to the park. Also North Platte, NE has a nice small campground next to Scout's Rest Ranch (Buffalo Bill's house and meuseum) along the North Platte River. you can go to
