mine has a red R and green G, not sure if red means empty, i have it hooked to my 300 lb pig at home, furnace runs fine but the indicator shows the red R, maybe not enough pressure to switch it?
i change the factory propane hose to a Camco 59035 12' Propane Supply Hose, i can connect to on board tank or my pig.
