Well as someone above stated I aint proud either...I am 48 the wife 46. Age is what you make it. I still occasionally put on football pads and play a game or two, still play basketball, camp, shoot, and ride the heck out of my ATV and motorcycle. Last year I was the oldest guy playing in the alumni football game. Like Native Tex stated you are only as old as you feel. I dont feel old. I dont plan on working (doing what I currently do)for many more years. We plan to follow our youngest around the country when he starts playing football in college (1 year before that happens).

Isn't life grand!

Native Tex do you have any children in the military. I noticed your quote. My oldest is in the Navy, my daughter's soon to be husband is Navy, and my wife and I are x-Navy (I particapated in the first Iraq War). My oldest son was on the first carrier out in response to 911. He was gone 9 months on the Roosevelt back 3 months and then off to Iraq for 6 months on the Enterprise. SO RIGHT ON MAN! Support our Troops!

With that all said please enjoy my favorite quote:
“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even
though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who
neither enjoy much or suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight
that knows not victory nor defeat.”

-Theodore Roosevelt
