Glue will keep the trim from being removed, if the slide has to be removed?, why would a slide ever have to be removed?. To remove the kitchen slide on ours the counter top would have to be removed also, even if it did, a small pry bar can remove the trim, maybe screws would be better, as others have mentioned, I just think it's a cost issue during production
