I have been very happy with 2 Honda 2000s. Normally only use one unless I am going to use air conditioning. Another advantage of 2 units is redundancy. The electric start 3000 Honda is too heavy to lug around and the 3000 Honda Handi is a little underpowered. Camped last weekend about 600 yards from someone using a Champion - it was noisy. If the new HF units are as quiet as they advertise you could replace the unit almost twice for the price of a Honda.
