We stayed at the West Glacier KOA. Absolutely the best place we ever parked. We had a patio site, it was $85, but well worth it--I've paid more for much less! Make a res well in advance if you want to stay there. It is about 3-4 miles from park entrance. ("Going to the Sun" road entrance) Highly recommend the restaurant in the KOA for dinner. They have nice pools, ice cream store, all the comforts of home.

While in the Glacier NP area, take the time to go to the East Glacier area and visit the Many Glacier lodge at lunch time, and treat your wife to a lake-view window table.
