Just looked inside the converter and no blue wire. There is a blk - wht heavy pair from the bottom (converter positive + and converter negative -) going to the circuit board which also has no blue wires. I'm thinking the only converter connection to the battery is the one heavy red wire to Battery pos + connection. See diagram
