Neat for storage, but you might not want to run your power with the cable wrapped around one of those as the cable can get hot - very hot when it's wound in a coil and has power running through it. The problem is without adquate air circulation, the wire doesn't expel heat properly. As it heats up, the resistance of the wire increases, causing it to get hotter. Can you see a run away cycle here?
