This past March we stayed a couple of nights at Travelers World. Just south of town on Roosevelt ave. It was a nice park and would have your 50 amp.
It was right on the bus line. Walk outside of the park, across the street, and for $2 if I recall you take a 15 minute ride and are in town for the Alamo, Riverwalk etc. Just to the south of there a couple of miles was one of the many San Antonio missions. This one being the Mission San Jose. A great way to spend a few hours.
It had a nice pool, decent space between sites, lots of trees. If the location is convenient for what you have planned, you can't go wrong.
