Insurance rates will vary from state to state even within the same company. I pay $337 annually with a $500 deductible with State Farm. Premium is based upon the suggested retail cost when the unit was new. The State Farm policy is not designed for full timers. It does not include liability or personal property coverage. They assume you have coverage under your home insurance for this type of property. The policy does cover the furniture and equipment furnished with the trailer from the manufacturer. In California, the coverage is actual cash value. This means that it is not replacement cost and if your rig is destroyed, payment is based upon current market value, similar to your car insurance. I suspect the more expensive policies have replacement cost, contents, liability and low deductibles. Evaluate your risk to see what fits you style. Full timers definitely need more complete coverage than us part timers.
