That was my worry when I had my 3402RL and that is why I went with the 310 and it worked out great except I had to buy a 1FT flexable 1/2in hose and a female to female adapter for one end because the Thetford water inlet is up high and the Dometic is low and also you have to use the old Thetford gasket because the Dometic is shaped different and also you get a little extra room in the POO POO closet
with the 310 because it is a skinnier design
