On my Motorcycle windshield I use Hydrogen Peroxide in a spray bottle diluted with water. What it does is almost disolves the little critters and then you wipe them off. You don't need a lot of elbow grease either. If the Hydrogen Peroxide is safe on my windsheild, I do not see it affecting the clearcoat on the RV.
