Not sure my problem is exactly the same as others described here, but here goes:

On our 2955RL the galley valve handle is "between the tires". The valve has become increasingly hard to open. I have tried lubrication as far as I can reach, even to opening the "underbelly" just a bit. No effect. On our last trip to Colorado the handle on the end of the rod finally pulled off in my hand. I have been able to keep it on (barely, I'm afraid) but I have to grasp the rod itself and pull very hard to get the galley valve to open.

Is there any way I can get lubricant to the valve itself? (through the sink??) I surely hope to avoid opening up the "belly of the beast". The other two valves operate normally. Naturally, they are the ones that are easy to get to! Under certain conditions I need to operate the galley valve with the slide-out out, as someone above has noted. This "sticky" valve complicates that already difficult procedure.

Any words of wisdom on "unsticking" this valve?
