I propose Keith weigh his 2955 for starters. On the shorter rigs, you'll most always have minimally 2000# pin weight with any personal gear loaded in . I don't know his situation, but not all of us full time / long time. Our typical "loaded" rig is no where close to what the max weight number is on the Montana spec sheet as we don't haul near as much "stuff". Assuming he got his guidance from this forum ... perhaps this is one example where the seemingly blanket recommendation of G614's was in error. I know I seem abrasive on my replies, but the ones that ususally chime in with answers seem to assume we all travel loaded to the gills!
