racerjoe, when I installed them I did not turn the rotors so I guess that is a possibility. when I went back to the original pads it stopped and I did not turn the rotors then either. Maybe it was just a fluke in that particular set of pads. I normally turn my rotors if I can feel it in my brake pedal-years ago I always needed to turn them. I think I would give the ceramics a shot again since they seem to last a very long time.
