DO NOT use steel wool on plastic! It's surface is too soft! You will cloud up the finish! My sister in law tried using steel wool on her plastic window on a car she had years ago to remove paint splatter, it did remove the paint,....but.... she couldn't see out the window any longer due to the scratches the steel wool left! My advise is don't use it on any kind of plastic product!
