Got our 50amp surge protector back in 2005. I paid just under $400.00. Just replaced it in 2009 and again seems like I paid just under $400.00 again. I always use the portable not the hardwired type. By doing so its just plug and play and no additional charge for install. As ols1932 said be sure what your buying. GBY...
