Ask good questions of the two shops and then make a decision.

All CW are not the same - I have had good timely service at our CW in Tucson. Sounds like the one in Katy is not set up to cater to full timers.

With the small facility that is willing to work parts before you leave it that seems a good choice as long as your insurance company does not have an issue.
