We are about to take delivery of a new 2955RL with satellite prep. Any assistance in answering the following basic questions will be greatly appreciated.

Once we have satellite signal established in the unit, will both television sets (living room and the extra we will put in the bedroom) be connected?

Using the provided rooftop antenna, can we use both this feature to get locals and still use satellite to get other channels? How would these two features interact together? Is some type of splitter box needed?

If a DVD is being played in the living room can this be viewed in the bedroom as well?
