Any chance it has a fuse or resettable breaker on the back side?

You might google the model number and see if you get any hits for sites that sell just the unit itself. If you have to buy a complete new system, you can still use the existing speakers if they are the correct ohms. Or use the existing wiring with the new speakers as I did.
