Sheepdog, here is my take on the Chinese GY's. I have a 2009 2980RL with a dry weight of 11,400. I try to keep my weight under 13k depending if I fill the FW tank or not. I have GY Marathons with manuf dates of 47,48 and 49 weeks of 2007. Last year we brought the trailer home from Ohio where we purchased the trailer and the drove 17,000 miles on the Alaskan highway, Top of the world Highway, Klondike Highway and the Cassiar Highway. We saw some assortment of roads before we got back to Houston. I have not had a flat, blowout or any tire problems as of yet. I am seeing wear on the tires of course but still lots of tread. I figure I have about 23,000 miles on these tires. I keep them inflated to 80 psi and have a tps installed because I ran Carlisle's on my last trailer and couldn't travel 250 miles without a blowout.

I don't like Chinese crap any better than the rest, but so far so good.

What are the manuf dates on your tires and where are you located? How much are you asking for your tires?
