Hi
Over the last 50 years I have operated 5th wheel hitched vehicles from 200,000 lbs to 15,000 lbs. If I ever hook up to a trailer and the hitch doesn’t have enough clearance to at least let me feel the “bump” in an abrupt stop or start there is something seriously wrong and I will not tow it.
