I planned my financial portfolio to the age of 100, living comfortably. Now I will either have to go back to work at 80 or move in with the kids :-0

Our investments have taken a big hit in this economy but with most everything paid for and living conservatively we will be just fine. I am just worried about the younger generation, it looks like the economy is beating them up pretty good and it will take quite awhile for them to recover and save for their retirement.

Our business was in construction (which our son has now)and that industry has been down for to many years now and with all the foreclosures and short sales going on it looks like construction will not return in our area for quite some time.
