I'm 68 and find myself comfortable at 250 miles give or take 50. I'll plan the stop the night before departure and try to keep it within that range. So that is about 6 hours on the road including stops. I did recently run from Pensacola Fl to Mayport FL and that was a haul.

Now, find your own comfort zone and try to stick to it. After all, what's the rush. If I drove 13 hours I'd have to spend two night recuperating from the fatig.

Oh! I recently cut my speed down to 55 mph from 65 mph and gained almost 2 mpg more in economy, so my times may be a little longer for the same distance, but I'm more relaxed at the lower speed.
