Back to the KOA situation. Just today I found that a large resort near Houston, Texas where we have stayed several times is no longer "Havens Landing" but is now a KOA. Do we see a trend here? Very possibly. "Destination RV Resort" in South Padre Island was a '5 star' superior RV park and so was "Havens Landing". Both have become KOA almost overnight.
At least prices have not changed at "Havens Landing." In fact, we are staying there next Friday and Saturday nights as we make our way down toward the Rio Grande Valley.
