Phil, I don't think you'll ever need one with the TrailerSaver hitch. It's the one hitch that I'm aware of that gives you a definite hook-up. I usually check the jaws to make sure they are closed after I lock the lever in it's travel position. I queried Hensley about a bedsaver and they assured me that there would be no need for one.
