I don't know if you're right or not Phil, but I agree with you so we can BOTH be non-green and too old to learn new tricks especially at 10 times what it costs today. If they claim 3000 to 5000 recharges how come they are only warranted for 5 years? I'll go read the article on the link now. I hope to learn something, but then forget it soon enough, argh.
On edit: Read the article... I don't need off the grid power like some want. If a lead-acid deep cylce is $85 where I live today, I can purchase three of those every five years and spend WAY less than a single Lithium battery today and accomplish what I need. The technology sounds promising but its cost is just not practical for me, yet. I congratulate you folks with deeper pockets if you can do this sooner than later.
