I hate to disagree, but for a chevy 2019 or older the 3/4 ton and 1 ton srw are about equal as for as payload, hitch and 5th wheel ratings. The 1 ton diesel will give you about 2,000 more on the 5th wheel hitch with srw, the gaser is the same as the 3/4 ton.



When you go to drw diesel is where you really increase the payload, hitch and 5th wheel ratings, and safety.


This is for chevy 2019 and older.


I like the safety. Seen several 5th wheel rollovers because a rear tire blew on a srw.


Seen some that blew, did not roll, but lots of money to repair the damage of the blow out.


I am sure blowouts happen on drw, but have not seen any.
