2017 ram 3500 are megacab. With our 3610 montana we were 200 lbs over..we bought the dually now..dually is determined by weight in bed.. that's it.. check gvwr of your truck. You may find out after you and the wife and whatever else you still may be over. Gvwr and rawr..
