Also, supposedly a plan should have the same coverage no matter who the insurer is. That is, a plan F from company A should be the same coverage as plan F from companies B & C. However, the costs may be different for the different companies. And some medical facilities may accept some insurers and not others. Would be best to have a supplement from a company that was widely accepted nationwide.
