Ditto on surge protector. I used to have Surge Guard and it was ok. But with new trailer, I went with Progressive (I think it is) because it has a lifetime warranty. I also have a readout I ran to the hallway and it shows the amp usage and voltage as well as has a bypass switch when using a generator.
These have saved me at least twice and I needed it once before when it blew out my tv because of low voltage in Neb. when it was 108 in the evening.
