I also went with Demco Recon. There was an article in a recent Trailer Life where I first read about the hitch, and it seemed to be easy to "deconstruct" and take out of the bed - and that appealed to me. I used a Reese hitch years ago and my son would help me get the heavy thing out of the bed of the truck and put it back when we traveled. We sold our last fifth wheel about the same time he left home, and we had a series of bumper-pull travel trailers - so I did not have to deal with heavy fifth wheel hitches.

We have been on the road since buying the Montana, and we should be back to the home base in a couple of weeks. I will update you on whether or not the Recon is easy to remove or not. So far it has been really easy to use.
