My wife and I opted to do things a little differently. We found a supplier in upstate New York that builds kayak racks that fit the back end of our fifth wheel. Plugs in to a standard hitch. The part I like the best is easy to get to the kayak and easy to put back. Cables are provided to lock your kayak to the rack.
