Orv, thanks for posting this information. I am interested in your continuing reports on this.

Our OEM lugnuts have rusted. I think when they're removed and reinstalled the sharp edges of the hexagon gets galled and bare metal must protrude through the very thin plating and that's what rusts. I think that's what is happening, anyhow.

So, my question is... have you noticed any bare metal or even any galling of the surface from mounting the lugnuts?
