Here at the 'Stick house' I installed what we call a Mini-Split in our bedroom. It's about a 2 ton, unit, the evaporator hangs on the wall. It is as quiet as the Ceiling fan. We like it cool and dry in there at night, I just push the remote button and it keeps the bedroom at 70 degrees. We still use the Ceiling fan there.
