Nitrogen was a jinx for us. We've never had tire problems on our cars. The 2 new ones came with Nitrogen. So almost in the first month each car had a flat and the repair store had no nitrogen, so now we have a mixture. I asked a PHD chemist friend of mine who is also a car nut and he laughs at the "scientific" claims the nitrogen folks make. Most are completely wrong scientifically. I'm sure there are applications where it might make sense, but for most folks, it's a waste of money.
