Seems to me that not long ago there was quite a discussion here about voiding the Montana warranty by adding hitches, carriers, etc. & putting more than 250 pounds back there. Something about the frame not being designed for the additional weight, plus the stress of whatever is back there bouncing up & down. Someone may recall some specifics, but I would think one of those hydraulic lifts would be more than 250 pounds just by itself. I know when we bought our unit we asked about a rear hitch & were told it could be done as long as the 250 pound weight limit wasn't exceeded. Mike
