Hi

I find the pin weight to be about 24% of the trailer weight

Truck weight with trailer hooked 12,100
Truck weight no trailer - - 8,750
Pulse trailer axel weights + 10,300

Total trailer weight = 13,650

A pin weight of 3,350 Lbs is about 24% just about right.

The 2012 F350 has a about 2,000 lb higher weight rating than the older trucks.

I would say he is below the GCW rating but should check his rear axle weight rating, the tire weight ratings and the front axle weight verses front axle weight and tire ratings.

Compare to the trailer weight rating I am not sure the trailer scale weights are correct.

I know our trailer is rated at 15,909 Lbs and the truck at 23,500 Lbs I can only load the trailer to 15,300 without exceeding any of the weight ratings.
