"This excess was at the end of the travel when the limits should stopped the travel. This problem has going on since new as I know I have not set the stops. We will adjust them tomorrow as today is a road trip day to Yuma.. So the moral of the story is we will be checking the limits on the other slide before we are done"

Sorry ... just a terminology gap on my part. I took limits to be limit switches ... I term the big nuts as hard stop adjusters. I was just warning you and others not to snug both nuts up against the pusher bracket as it can tear the facia right off the slide. The cylinders have more stroke than the slide can structurally handle.
