My brother has a 2018 SOB and placed one of those racks in the receiver hitch on the back of his 5th wheel. Then he cable locks a 8500 watt generator to it and with the 50 amp RV connector in the back it's just a short cable to connect it. The generator's stock gas tank will allow the unit to run 8 - 10 hours. He carries extra gas cans in the truck bed. He runs it all night when he is boondocking and of course in a camp ground he doesn't need it. One advantage to his set up is the generator is available for other duties when he isn't camping, like being a back up for his house.
